After 6 months, we're finally moving! We are excited, nervous, and a bit scared to jump into this new path on our journey.
I'm painting the next few days so I'll be offline. I'll try to blog later this week though. I can't believe it's actually here.
On a related note, we're learning more about dependence and trust on Christ than we've ever been stretched to know before. It's thrilling to be on this adventure with Dani.
No matter what has happened, Christ has been with us and taken care of us and proven faithful, trustworthy, and our provider. We are learning in a very real way that He is all we need. He IS enough! It's a hard truth at times because we have loved so many other things for most of our lives. It's hard but good at the same time.
Have a good week and I'll post again soon.
Grace&Peace.

Education in California
Here's another article, this one is about a bill just passed by Gov. Arnold Swarchenegger, who is a republican.
So, what would you do if you lived in California and had children in the school system?

Talkin' About a Bad Day
I saw this title, "Woman Overheard Yelling Obscenities at Toilet Could Face Jail Time", and thought that this person must be in the middle of a really bad day.

Crazy Days
This weekend was a lot of fun for Dani and me. We had our first parenting conference and learned a lot, had a blast, and are looking forward to more. Then I got to preach on Sunday at Brazos Meadows (which is a great place for us because we went there during college and Billy is still a very close friend to me).
Sunday night, we packed up and went to sleep for a few hours to wake up at 5:20 am Monday morning to drive all the way to Longview for one stop, then back over to Dallas for another stop and to stay with our good friends, the Summers.
Tomorrow (Tuesday), we're heading around a few places in Dallas and then getting back home. It's a lot of driving but it's a lot of fun being with family and friends so much.

2 in a Row
I really don't usually listen to country music...I'm serious. However, I was searching YouTube for a clip to use in an upcoming Bible study I'm teaching and I found this song that was performed on Jay Leno last December (I think).
I hope you enjoy it as well.
Hopefully next time I'll have something to post besides country music.
