New Again

My mom sent me a link to this video so I thought I'd post it here too. Happy Easter!

Free CD

If you liked the song on my previous post...you can download a new cd from him by signing up to receive updates from him. There is NO COST!

Just go to Phil Wickham's website. It's really easy and the cd is nice. It is a recording of a live concert he did in Oregon. Every song is just him, a guitar, and the people who came singing along with him. I'm enjoying it.

Beautiful

This is a great song by Phil Wickham, called "Beautiful."

Hope Now by Addison Road

I went to college with most of this band and love getting to watch how God is taking them on this ride as a band. This is their new video for one of their big hits, "Hope Now."

Intentions

Here's another video of my good friends, Heather Coleman and Travis Lawrence. I think Heather wrote this song for them to sing together (I think that's how the song came about)...

Tenth Avenue North

One of my favorite new bands is Tenth Avenue North. Just about every song on their album, "Over and Underneath," rocks. Their lyrics are thoughtful, deep, and sound. If you haven't listened to them yet, check them out! If you want to buy their stuff, do it from iTunes...you get a bonus song and this music video included with the regular cd and digital booklet.

Political Song

Here's kinda how I feel about politics...

This song is on Derek Webb's album, "The Ringing Bell" if you're interested.

2 in a Row

I really don't usually listen to country music...I'm serious. However, I was searching YouTube for a clip to use in an upcoming Bible study I'm teaching and I found this song that was performed on Jay Leno last December (I think).

I hope you enjoy it as well.

Hopefully next time I'll have something to post besides country music.

Cool Song

I'm not really a country music fan but this song is pretty cool. The video shows several clips from the "The Passion of The Christ" movie. The singers are Sara Evans and Brad Paisley.

REMEDY is here!

DC*B rocks it again and brings a cd packed full of powerful songs and incredible lyrics. This is definitely worth buying. I am so glad I was able to go to the cd Release Party last night and hear it all live. It was awesome!

It is also so cool getting to go to UBC every Sunday. It's a great place and getting involved in their Sunday school time has been wonderful for Dani and me. One of the things that is talked about a lot around UBC is how the songs that the band writes are written from the community experience at UBC. Last night, as I was listening to Remedy, I really understood this. Here are the lyrics:

Can you feel it?
Can you feel it?
The love in this place
Can you feel it?

Can you feel it?
Can you feel it?
The grace in this place
Can you feel it?

Everytime I walk into UBC or hang out with other UBC-ers, I feel it. I think that rocks!

Anyway, get the cd!
