Nevermind... I think I can guess the answer to that! But seriously, I am glad someone is trying to make a bold stand against the every-growing divorce rate in this country. I don't know that 30 days of... you know... are going to heal marriages though. But it could be a start.
What do I think... After listening to the interviews, it sounds like a pretty balanced approach to restoring relationships, they just advertise according to what will shock value. I think it's a bit goofy to put up billboards (but I kinda think that for churches regardless of the emphasis).
I also see how impossible such a challenge is if the couples don't grow closer emotionally as well.
Here's one big concern for me though: it sounds like the push for restoring intimacy/relationship boils down to partners meetings each other's needs. We'll never be able to do that all the time, nor were we created to do that.
I'll think a bit more about all this too. Thanks for asking though. :)
Y•LIFe was formed by Matt and Dani Smith in 2006 to spread the message of grace to as many students, youth workers, and parents as possible. God has expanded this ministry to include a broader range of people from many different generations and contexts. We love getting to share the life of Christ in us with others!

What do YOU think of the challenge?
